Digital marketing involves understanding consumers, creating content, improving search visibility and measuring campaign performance. Students also need to understand how digital channels and marketing tools work together.
The proposed Digital Marketing at MBU with PW Skills programme aims to bring industry-oriented learning into the university experience. The 120-hour track is planned across four semesters, covering foundational concepts, search engine optimisation (SEO), generative engine optimisation (GEO), performance marketing, paid media, analytics and automation. It also includes a capstone project and interview preparation.
The programme's final implementation and academic integration remain subject to alignment with MBU. Students interested in exploring digital marketing beyond this proposed university track can also learn more about the Digital Marketing with AI course offered by PW Skills.
The MBU and PW Skills partnership aims to combine university education with industry-oriented skill development. MBU brings its academic environment, campus infrastructure and faculty, while PW Skills proposes to contribute industry-focused curriculum, expert-led sessions, practical learning and career preparation support.

The proposed 120-hour Digital Marketing track is divided into four semesters, with 30 hours of learning planned for each semester. The curriculum progresses from digital marketing foundations and consumer behaviour to content, SEO, GEO, performance marketing, analytics and automation, followed by a capstone project.
The first semester introduces the foundations of digital marketing and the digital consumer. These topics help students begin understanding the marketing field and the role of consumer behaviour in digital activities.
The second semester focuses on content, search engine optimisation and generative engine optimisation.
SEO and GEO are included as key areas of the proposed learning track. Students will be introduced to these areas as part of their digital marketing education. Students who want to explore digital marketing topics further can also check the A–Z Guide to Digital Marketing with AI.
The third semester covers performance marketing and paid media. These topics form the next stage of the curriculum, building on the foundational concepts and search-related topics covered earlier. Students interested in social media as a digital marketing channel can also explore the Social Media Marketing Course.
The final semester covers analytics and automation, along with a capstone project. This stage brings the learning track towards its planned completion, combining marketing-related topics with a project component. Students looking for additional project-based practice can explore Digital Marketing with AI Projects to learn about related practical work.
The proposed MBU and PW Skills learning model combines live digital instruction with on-campus mentoring.
The model includes:
Live teaching sessions: PW Skills industry experts will deliver live digital classes, with recordings planned to be available through the learning management system (LMS).
On-campus mentoring: A trained assistant faculty member will be present to help students with doubts and support classroom engagement.
Digital learning support: The PW Skills LMS and LineupX are planned to support assessments, progress tracking and reporting.
Practical learning: The partnership proposes industry-oriented learning and projects as part of its broader skill-development approach.
The model is designed to combine expert-led instruction with on-campus academic support. Final delivery arrangements will depend on alignment with MBU.
The proposed programme includes a 32-hour Interview Preparation component spread across four semesters. This component is planned for students across all four learning tracks, including Digital Marketing.
The proposed career preparation support also includes:
Resume and portfolio building
Mock interviews
LinkedIn optimisation
Soft skills development
Career portal access
An AI Interview Coach
These activities are intended to help students prepare for interviews and present their skills more effectively. The programme also proposes bootcamps across five areas: Data Analytics, AI and Machine Learning, Full Stack Development, Digital Marketing, and DSA.
The proposed partnership is intended to bring skill development into the university learning experience. Its scope includes programmes such as B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Com and MBA, among others.
This makes digital marketing a relevant track to explore for students interested in understanding content, search visibility, paid media, analytics and automation. Students should refer to the final programme details approved by MBU for eligibility and implementation information.
The proposed collaboration brings together MBU’s academic environment and PW Skills’ industry-focused learning approach. By combining structured learning with practical exposure and career preparation, the initiative aims to help students build skills relevant to the changing demands of the workplace.
Digital Marketing at MBU with PW Skills is a proposed learning track that covers foundational marketing concepts, SEO, GEO, performance marketing, paid media, analytics and automation across four semesters. Along with interview preparation and a capstone project, the programme aims to connect university learning with industry-oriented skills.
